Sika Level SkimCoat

Sika Level SkimCoat is a one-component, easy-to-use, fast-drying cementitious skim mortar designed for repairing and reprofiling concrete, approved wood subfloors, and properly prepared ceramic or quarry tiles. It serves as an ideal base for applying Sika® Level products or final floor coverings. This versatile product can be applied as a true featheredge and is effective for filling voids and leveling surface defects up to 1/2” (13 mm) deep, making it perfect for both renovation and new construction projects.

• Shelf Life: 12 months from the production date when stored properly in the original, unopened, and undamaged sealed packaging
• Storage Conditions: Store in dry conditions at 41°–86°F (5°–30°C); Protect from moisture; discard material if it becomes damp
• Mixing Ratio: 2 quarts (1.9 L) of water per bag
• Layer Thickness: Feather edge -  Min. 1/2" (13 mm); Higher thicknesses possible in small, localized areas (e.g., birdbath application)
• Product Temperature: 65–75°F (18–24°C)
• Ambient Air Temperature: 50–86°F (10–30°C); For temperatures above 86°F (30°C), follow ACI hot weather application and protection guidelines
• Relative Air Humidity: < 75%
• Substrate Temperature: 50–86°F (10–30°C)
• Pot Life: ~ 10–20 minutes (temperature dependent); Above 73°F (23°C)  Reduces pot life and working time; Below 73°F (23°C) - Extends pot life and working time
• Waiting / Recoat Times: Feather edge - 20 minutes; Polyurethane adhesives - > 16 hours
• Set Time: 20–30 minutes (ASTM C-266)
• Final Set Time: 30–60 minutes (ASTM C-266)
